Low Platelet Count (Thrombocytopenia) in Females Diagnosed with Hypertensive Disorder after 20 Weeks of Gestation

Background: Platelets are produced in the bone marrow and remain blood for about 2 weeks before they destroyed reticuloendothelial system. The range of normal platelets count 150 & 450 × 103/μl that is also same mostly recorded throughout pregnancy. A platelet counts less than x103/μl considered to be thrombocytopenia. It’s commonly diagnosed has attracted interest from the1researchers pregnant females during last 20.0 years, especially hypertensive women. Objective: To find frequency low (thrombocytopenia)1in with disorder after 20 gestation. Methodology Study Design: Cross sectional study Setting: Department Obstetrics Gynecology Shalimar hospital, Lahore. Material Methods: All information was noted on attached proforma getting written informed consent. From OPD Hospital Lahore, a total 282 fulfilling selection criteria were taken. After enrolling cases detailed clinical assessment done their demographic gestational taken along parity. Pregnancy induced hypertension further classified as Gestational HTN, Mild preeclampsia, Eclampsia Severe preeclampsia. Blood sample help staff nurse drawn sent hospital laboratory.
